Can I drive to UK Black Pride?
Our advice is that where possible, you use public transport to arrive at the event. There is virtually no free parking around the site, and not many places where you can be dropped off near the main entrance. Furthermore, some roads around the park will be closed on the day to manage the flow of people across the day. There are a limited number of parking spaces available for blue badge holders. To find out more information about this please reach out to our Accessibility Officer, Jai Forde at jai@ukblackpride.org.uk
Do I need to book a ticket?
No, you will not need a ticket to enter. Just turn up on the day. There will be security at the entrance points to manage crowd levels throughout the day and check for prohibited items. Entrance into the event is free, however please note that at busier times during the day there may be some queues to enter the site.

During the main event volunteers will be handing out £10 wristbands throughout the day. These guarantee you entry to the afterparty - but space is very limited, so to avoid long queues and any disappointment we recommend buying a ticket ahead of time.
To get to the afterparty you can take a direct line from Stratford to Tottenham Court Road using the Elizabeth line (approximately 13 minutes). The venue is located directly outside Tottenham Court Road Station. The address is Here at Outernet, Charing Cross Rd, London WC2H 8LH
The venue is accessible. There is level access to the dance floor via lifts, as well as a viewing platform for anyone who requires space for a mobility aid and those who require a seat. There is also priority access for yourself and your companions. Unfortunately, there are no quiet spaces available.
If you require access support during your visit Please purchase your standard ticket on DICE and reach out to DICE Fan Support via the DICE app or dice.fm/contact to confirm your requirements (e.g. wheelchair space, companion, etc). Alternatively, please email virginia@ukblackpride.org.uk For more information please visit https://hereldn.com/accessibility/
Will there be photography and videography?
Yes. UK Black Pride will have official photographers and videographers, who will carry UK Black Pride-branded identification.
Should you not wish to give your consent and not be photographed, you are able to pick up a red wristband on entry. Those without a write band give consent.
Consent gives UK Black Pride permission to use images from the event for marketing purposes. Please note that consent is waived for aerial photography and crowd shots. Our photographers and videographers have been briefed on privacy concerns.
There will be a number of photographers and videographers working as “official” UK Black Pride crew. They will have UK Black Pride-branded identification. Photographers and videographers who do not have UK Black Pride branding are not working with or for UK Black Pride, though attendees may still choose to have their photo taken. Only images delivered to UK Black Pride from our official photographers will be used by UK Black Pride.
Will the event be live-streamed?
Yes the main stage will be live streamed.
Who are this year’s sponsors?
UK Black Pride 2024’s headline sponsor is Deloitte, with additional sponsorship from GILEAD, NYX Pro-MakeUp, Vodafone, EY, Bloomberg, Autotrader, and Intermediate. Our media partners are Gay Star News, Getty Images and Diva.
What accessibility provisions are in place for the event?
Every year we try to strive to make UK Black Pride an even more welcoming and inclusive space for the wide spectrum of our community. Please find information around what accessibility provisions have been put in place here: https://www.ukblackpride.org.uk/accessibility
Please note there will be a number of accessibility toilets around the park. Attendees wearing the yellow accessibility wristband will have priority when using these toilets. For more information around what provisions have been put in place please contact our Accessibility Officer, Jai Forde at jai@ukblackpride.org.uk
Will there be a first aid team on site?
Yes, we will be supported by an excellent first aid team who will have a medical tent based near the toilet block.
What if I or someone I know has a non physical medical problem?
Once again we are delighted to have the support of Mental Health First Aid. They will have a base with relaxed seating and shade in the community stallholder area. They will also have some mental health first aiders walking around the site to assist any attendees who may be feeling overwhelmed. We will also have some welfare officers from Safe Only assisting across the day to provide additional welfare and harm reduction support where needed.
What size bag can I bring to the event?
All attendees will have to pass through security before entering the site. To help speed up the entry times we advise you to bring a bag of A4 size or smaller.
Are children allowed to attend?
Yes, we want to make sure this is an inclusive and enjoyable day for everyone. Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an appropriate adult (over the age of 18).
I am neither Black nor a person of colour. Am I still able to attend UK Black Pride?
Yes, you are welcome to attend. Our goal is to create an inclusive space for all. However, we ask that non-Black and non-POC attendees:
Respect the experiences and perspectives shared by Black and POC participants
Be mindful of the space you occupy, both physically and in discussions
Listen actively and avoid centering yourself or your experiences
Recognise that this event primarily focuses on amplifying Black and POC voices
Your presence and allyship are valued, provided you engage thoughtfully and respectfully in the space.
Will there be security present at the event?
Yes. To ensure the safety and protection of all attendees there will be security present across the site throughout the day. We are supported by LGBTQI+-friendly security specialists who are better equipped to manage our diverse community of attendees.
How long will it take to get through security?
This year we have ramped up the entry process by providing more security lanes to ensure that the queues can move more swiftly. There will of course be times in the day which are busier than others, so it's difficult to give precise queuing times. We do ask that you play your part by not bringing any prohibited items on site, as this will reduce the queuing times.
What kind of clothes are usually worn?
UK Black Pride’s communities always turn a look. However, come in whatever you feel comfortable, and remember to consider the weather conditions on the day of the event.

Drugs and amnesty bins will be in place at the entrance for customer use.
